BIG HIT at E Spark Hatchery

Marie Macklin joined  the Crème de la crème of Scottish Entrepreneurs at the Entrepreneurial Sparks Hatchery Hits the Street event at the Thistle Hotel Glasgow on Friday  10th January 2014.Amongst the glitz and glam some fantastic new business start ups pitched to a Dragons Den panel hoping to win some valuable funding.

Marie was honoured to have been asked to judge the 60 second pitches with fellow judges Scottish Government Minister & MSP Michael Russell Cabinet Secretary for Education and Lifelong Learning  and Simon McNamara Group Chief Administrative Officer The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS)

There was awards totalling £80k on the night, with the £5K Klin Group award for going to  ‘CORE 150’    

Marie said ‘Now is the time to be an Entrepreneur in Scotland. With the support of The RBS and The Scottish Government , Scotland 2014 is an exciting country to be grow a new business from. It’s these businesses that will create employment opportunities for all, so to give up some of my time and funds to help them on their way is the least KLIN can do in assisting economic growth for Scotland’.
